Just yesterday I was saying (read as: bitching about) how I hate little kids.

Perfect flash to compliment my thoughts. Very clean and professional looking flash with a consistant style throughout. Kickass.

Hm.

I'm not sure if this is a traced flash or not, it very well could be. However, since I rarely watch any anime and Street Fighter isn't really my game, I don't feel I'm qualified to make that call. A word of advice: If this really isn't traced.. I suggest you find out a way to clear your name as fast as you can.

As for the flash itself:
A valiant effort (assuming it's not traced) to say the least, the faces are actually pretty well done for the most part, the character design is well done and distinct from the cookie-cutter Goku-lookalikes in many DBZ fan stories. However, with the good comes the flaws, but since I'm a pretty civil reveiwer if I believe effort was put forth, I'll lay down my critique as gingerly as possible:

-At first I was thining 'This is what it would be like if DBZ was actually well-thought out", and then I ate my words about half way in. Or at least I assume it was halfway, it became so reptitive that I just gave up watching it for the sake of my own sanity. The action was a bit inane and confusing towards the end. It's good to keep a racing pace in a flash, however, you don't need to make your veiwer's brains "asplode" with a bombardment of rather disjointed fight scenes. This doesn't serve to keep them entertained, but rather just to annoy. Transition man, transition! Tone it down a bit, not even the actual show was this insane. The fight animation itself wasn't too fluid, the movements were at times a bit jerky. Use more inbetween frames for the motions to remedy this.

-You really shouldn't have submitted this flash. It's way too unpolished and glicthy to be on NG as a final draft. C'mon, if you've got this far, you could put in the effort to fix the character bios. I would be more inclined to watch if I knew what the fuck was going on, but I can't.. all the features are unusable.

It would have had a higher grade from me if you just would have fixed all the glitches.

The popping noise every time the umbrella man poked the main character was what made this flash great in my opinion.

Is it just me? Or was the bed scene a little odd? (omfg gay innuendo.. calls teh pope! [/sarcasm])

This is what fight-scene animation should be about. Not long, drawn-out battles, but quick booster shots of adrenaline.

I like how Raz was portrayed in your style, however, Kain didn't translate as well to this style in my opinion. The animation was fluid through out though, and the reaver's blade was well-rendered.

I don't know what it is that makes this little flash so endearing, but it is.

My take on it.

I remember when I liked DBZ, I was in elementry then, but that's beside the point. Many people who got into anime started by first liking DBZ (Not all, but quite a few), so don't let those goons who yell 'I HATEX0R DBZ U SUX' get to ya. In addition, they knew they were in for a DBZ flash, I don't understand why they go out of their way to watch what they don't even like? They most likely have too much time on their hands and want a soapbox to stand on.

Normally I watch DBZ NG flashes for a laugh, they normally suck so hard that it's funny (However I don't go out of my way to leave rude reveiws like many of the jokers on here.) I was surprised here.

I will agree that the flash gets a bit boring at times because it does the same predictable things that they do in the show (But your goal was to be accurate to the show, so you succeeded in that. Kudos!) Your animation skills are fairly decent (Read as: Pretty damn good), however, the parts where you tripped up on facial anatomy were noticable, but they weren't bad enough to really detract too much from the overall product. I also agree that there could have been a bit more animation. (Though animators have definately more pateince than a normal artist like myself, I've tried to animate, it's hard, I understand you cutting corner)

Keep at it though.

No... just.. no. You can't expect anyone to listen to awful Asian music while the flash slow-assedly scrolls over a poorly drawn figure on a moutain top.

I don't think that was the message of this flash, in the author's defense, Stardevil...
He made it a short flash and made a simplified version of what it's like to be ignored. It does often happen, and sometimes parents take TOO MUCH free time for themselves. I guess you just have to grow up with that style of parenting to appreciate this flash. *Shrug*
Decent flash work though.

Well, let's have the bad news first so you can end on a good note.
Cons-
It was too slow paced for it's own good even through the song it was set to was snail-paced. The recylced portions were too numerous and misplaced, and the close up shots of some of the background people didn't really fit either. The animation seemed jerky at some point (And believe me, I'm not on a slow machine, this baby screams.) especially with the tentacle movement.

Pros-
You channeled some sort of strange, pulp-comicy style into flash, not an easy feat by any means. The faces were realistic, the shadows were aligned just right. (Of course I'm admittedly no expert at shading). It was obvious you put a lot of effort into detail, the tentacles for example are rendered jaw-droppingly well. Not all of the animation was jerky, some of it was as slick and smooth as a new coat of paint.
Overall it deserves a top spot for sure, though not my cup of tea, I can't deny it had a good lot of effort put into it.
